Components of Making Learning Visible presents a list of factors to consider when creating documentation to be shared beyond classroom walls. It includes a brief discussion of such features of documentation as title, context, supporting artifacts, analysis or interpretation, and format.

Some Core Graphic Design Principles Just as words and images on a page carry meaning, so do the ways in which they are presented visually. This document presents nine principles of graphic design as a guide for thinking through your visual design decisions. Five of these principles were identified by Kristina Lamour of the Art Institute of Boston at Lesley University, and four are articulated by Robin Williams in her 1994 book, The Non-Designer's Design Book: Design and Typographic Principles for the Visual Novice.
