Project History

Making Learning Visible has been a part of Project Zero since 1997. Insights, ideas, questions, and products have built upon each other as we have explored individual and group learning from the different vantage points that each phase of our research has provided. Yet our focus on making visible the "how" and the "what" of learning in groups has remained constant. Explore these transformations and developments through the project's history:

Phase I: Reggio Emilia and Project Zero--Mutual Explorations

Phase II: MLV at Home in the U.S.

Overview: Accomplishments of Phases I and II

Phase III: Expanding the Research and the Reach--2002-2005
